Where do I park?

The Birmingham Parking Authority deck #3 is located directly across the street from The Harbert Center on 4th Avenue North between 20th and 21st Streets. Some street parking is also available, as well as other lots within walking distance.

I am attending from out of town and need a hotel room for the night. Where should I stay?

The Harbert Center is located in the central business district just two blocks away from the thriving 2nd Avenue North food district and the historic Tutwiler and Redmont hotels.

How much does the Economic Summit cost?

This event is a free event!

This event is all day. Will food and drink be provided?

Yes! During the Economic Summit, there will be an afternoon break where light hors d'oeuvres, coffee, and other beverages will be provided. A President's Reception will take place immediately after speakers and panelists have concluded.

COVID-19 Safety Procedures and Protocols

Enhanced cleaning of high touch surfaces before and during the event.


Staff will wear PPE and have daily temperature checks.


Guests will have temperature taken by a hands-free thermal scanner.


Registration will take place in the Atrium. To avoid congestion, please avoid congregating.


Mask are required until seated at your table and while traveling through public spaces, per statewide ordinance. 


Tables will be space 6'-8' feet apart and 6 people or less will be allowed at tables.


Please stay home if you believe you have been exposed to COVID-19 prior to the event or are showing symptoms.


All guests will be required to sign a "Hold Harmless Waiver" in order to enter the event.


A virtual viewing option for the 2021 Economic Summit will be available for those not comfortable attending an in-person event.
